no. the electrodes measure existing bioelectric signals using a tiny oscillating current (microamps). completely non-invasive. your plant won't notice.
most healthy houseplants with accessible stems or leaves. we've tested pothos, monstera, ficus, and various succulents. thicker stems tend to produce stronger signals.
no. T1N-P0T has a built-in synthesizer and headphone output. plug in any speaker or headphones and it plays on its own.
